Daily reminder, if you ever see a slasher film/movie on a shelf, alternatively, on an online webb shop, either if it's second-hand or a brand new one. Always make sure to check out the reviews on that film/movie cause if you don't, you might actually buy a horrible horror movie.
I almost bought Jason X once cause it was cheap, but since I checked out the reviews on different sites on my phone beforehand, I realised I would most definitely regret it.
I mean, there are worse horror movies out there, I would know. Because I used to have a habit of viewing and watching others review them simply because I was curious about others' opinions of it. Also, for the reason that I find it entertaining. But some "bad" horror films/movies could be pretty decent, but I wouldn't say this one would be worth wasting your time on. I did decide to watch the online version instead, and I did make the right call.
The horror element is essentially nonexistent, and the plot is so weak that simply a moderate breeze would cause it to fall apart. It has a convoluted tone, a fragmented narrative, and financial support. In addition, it has been offering stupid escape through creative and gory death sequences, which this movie undoubtedly delivers. Just don't watch this one. Watch other Friday the 13th films/movies as a substitute.

SUMMARY: Jason Voorhees is cryogenically frozen at the beginning of the 21st century, and is discovered in the 25th century and taken to space. He gets thawed, and begins stalking and killing the crew of the spaceship that’s transporting him.
The mod hasn’t seen this movie, but it was requested first as opposed to the other sequels. There is one kill that she knows happens that sounds cool though!

Jason X (2001) dir. James Isaac. 7.2/10
I wouldn't recommend this movie to my friends. I wouldn't rewatch this movie.
What is this scifixJason situation we got going on? This series really just keeps going. I just feel like this is so irrelevant. I only like Rowan and the sergeant. Everyone is dying so quickly and I care about no one really.
Kinsa, get it the fuck together.
I don't like this Kay-Em sex thing we got going on. If anything, everyone stop having sex.
Janessa's death was so quick and random, it's almost funny.
